How to Play Nova Poker

Nova Poker is a strategic casino card game where you face the dealer with unique visibility of other players’ cards — play smarter, not harder.

Nova Poker is a unique casino-style card game where players compete directly against the dealer (the house), while playing at a table with up to 4 real players.

What makes Nova Poker different is the information advantage: every player can see the full hands of the other real players at the table and one face-up card of the dealer.

Your goal is simple:
Build the strongest possible hand to beat the dealer.

How the Game Works

  • Each player is dealt 5 cards

  • The dealer is dealt 5 cards, with 1 card revealed

  • You can see:

    • All 5 cards of the other real players at your table

    • 1 exposed card from the dealer’s hand

  • The game is always Player vs. Dealer (Casino)

Exchange Cards / Buy Additional Cards

In Nova Poker, improving your hand is simple and strategic:

  • You may either buy additional cards OR exchange 2 to 5 cards

  • The cost is a single fixed fee equal to the Ante

  • The price is the same no matter how many cards you buy or exchange (up to 5)

Example: If the Ante is 20

  • Buy 1 card = 20

  • Buy 4 cards = 20

  • Exchange 2–5 cards = 20

Bonuses

  • Bonuses apply only to the first 5 cards dealt in the initial deal

  • No bonuses are awarded after exchanging cards

Side Bets

Nova Poker includes additional betting options:

  • Dealer Bonus bet

  • Bets on other players at the table

  • These bets appear as numbers above the Ante

Nova Poker includes a built-in Jackpot feature with high-value wins, adding excitement to every hand.
